Coloplast Opens €100 Million Medical-Device Manufacturing Facility in Portugal

On 29 October 2026, Danish medical-device company Coloplast inaugurated a €100 million manufacturing facility in Felgueiras, northern Portugal. The 50,000 m² factory is already operating with more than 300 employees and is expected to employ over 800 people as production expands. The investment creates opportunities for medical-device suppliers, healthcare technology companies, engineering contractors and specialist service providers.
