Liberia’s Agricultural Mechanisation Programme Opens Opportunities for Private Operators

Following the handover of 304 agricultural machines on 30 October, Liberia’s Agriculture Ministry said it was working toward a private-sector management arrangement for 13 mechanisation hubs. The equipment was donated by China, and no cash-investment or startup-funding amount was disclosed. The initiative may create opportunities for agritech operators, machinery-service businesses and agricultural logistics startups.
